Stourbridge based award winning drama group, Side-by-Side have been asked to open the prestigious AoC (Association of Colleges) conference at the ICC in November. The group, taught by drama teacher, Sue Wallin of Stourbridge College, are to put on a ten minute opening performance extracted from their play 'The Wrong Garden' in which they are currently rehearsing for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August next year.

Said Sue, "The ICC is probably the biggest stage the group have ever played on”. The whole group are really looking forward to the evening and are working hard at rehearsals".

The three day conference will open on Tuesday 11th November and will close on Thursday 13th. Amongst the array of notable guest speakers will be Sue Littlemore, BBC Education & Family Correspondent, Michael Brunson, Broadcaster and Journalist and Steve Harley, Microsoft UK’s Director of People and Culture.
